After the pandemic caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID⁃19), implementation intensity of non⁃pharmaceutical interventions has been reduced and the barrier of herd immunity has not been established, resulting in the repeated transmission of novel coronavirus in the population, and in the sudden increase of patients suffering from coronavirus myocarditis (CVM), which seriously threatens the public's physical and mental health. Studies have been indicated that early rehabilitation exercise is of great benefit to recovery of body function and mental health in patients with CVM. In recent years, adverse events such as sudden death caused by inappropriate exercise in patients with COVID⁃19 after the acute stage have gradually attracted attention. In this paper, research progress on cardiac rehabilitation exercise in CVM patients after COVID-19 epidemic was reviewed, focusing on the necessity of cardiac rehabilitation exercise, disease risk stratification before resuming exercise, and the intensity and timing of resuming exercise, aiming at providing a reference for formulating a scientific, reasonable, safe and effective exercise resuming regimen for CVM patients after a serious pandemic.
