Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of centralized group pregnancy health care on psychological states in pregnant women. Methods The randomized controlled trials related to effect of centralized group pregnancy health care on psychological states in pregnant women were retrieved from the databases of PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, The Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, VIP, and China Biology Medicine disc. After literature screening and quality evaluation, the RevMan 5.3 software was employed to perform a Meta-analysis. Results A total of 14 literature was enrolled, and there were 2624 research subjects in total. The results of Meta⁃analysis revealed that compared with the control group, pregnant women in the observation group obtained lower scores of anxiety and depression, and higher scores of self⁃efficacy and positive psychological capital level (P<0.05). However, there was no statistically significant difference in the score of fear of childbirth (P>0.05). Conclusion Centralized group pregnancy health care can reduce the anxiety and depression of pregnant women, and improve the self⁃efficacy and positive psychological capital level.
